Vacation redux: again and again

A month ago, John and I packed up the kids, the dog, and a vanload of stuff and headed to Galveston for a week-long vacation. We stayed on the far west end of the island. I mean, you could see the toll booth for the Port Bolivar Bridge from the ground floor of our condo. We had a terrific time, though a torrential rainstorm on the first night created a mosquito hatching of biblical proportions.  Read more...
